Spring Camp 2013

By AndreaPflughoft

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Spring Camp looks to be from April 22nd – May 2nd, 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Week 1:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Evenings

Week 2:  Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Evenings

The Mid-High and High School camps will occur at the same time, same location, at the Patriots practice field (next to the Broncos homeschool baseball field at NW 73rd and Grand Boulevard, half a mile west of N. May Ave.)

The cost is $50 which will be put toward your fees in the fall.  Registration forms will be sent via email as we get closer to the beginning of camp and will be turned in, along with the fee, on the first day.

This will be a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in playing football, but is undecided,  to get to know the players and see if football is for them.

So SPREAD THE WORD!

Thanks,

Coach Stone

VICTORY!! 42-0 over Gracemont

By AndreaPflughoft

The Patriots added a W to the stats with a 42-0 win over Gracemont. Had fun as always, as Gracemont is one of our favorite away games. The town graciously fed us before we drove home at “5th quarter”.

Go Patriots!

Friday, Aug. 31: Varsity Game

By AndreaPflughoft

Patriots vs. Gracemont High School 7:30pm

Gracemont, OK   LOCATION of football field:  If you search Google for directions, use “Gracemont Rd and US – 281 S in Gracemont, OK.”  Gracemont is about 70 miles from OKC or 1 hr & 10 min.)

DIRECTIONS:  From I-40 and I-44 in OKC:  Head west on I-40 for 20 miles. Take the US-81 N/I-40 BUS exit toward El Reno, keeping LEFT at the FORK in the exit and following signs for US-81 S/Chickasha (500 feet.)  At end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto I-40 BUS E/US-81 S and continue to follow US-81 S for 12 miles.  Turn RIGHT (WEST) onto OK-152 W/OK-37 W and continue to follow OK-152 W for 19.6 miles.  Turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto OK-8 S/US-281 S and continue for 7.3 miles.  Turn RIGHT (WEST) on Gracemont Street.  Field will be on the left.  (I think these directions are correct.  They will at least get you to Gracemont, OK, and it is a tiny town.  If all else fails, US-281 turns into 2nd Street and just south of Gracemont St., there are a restaurant and post office where you can stop to ask for directions to the field.)

High School Spring Camp

By AndreaPflughoft

HIGH SCHOOL SPRING CAMP starts for all 2012 season high school Patriot Football players, current 8th grade through 11th grade for the 2011/2012 school year (which will be 9th grade through 12th grade for the 2012/2013 school year);  It is VERY IMPORTANT not to miss any of the Mid-High players who are moving up to high school next season!  Call them if you know them!  And BRING YOUR HIGH SCHOOL AGED FRIENDS!!!

It’s time to get started working toward a great 2012 football season!!

We will practice Monday, May 7th.  We will also practice Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.  We will NOT practice the week of the 14th so the All-State guys can participate in that event.  We will have our 2nd week of Spring Camp starting Monday, May 21st.  We will practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.

Each day’s practice will be from 5:30 to 8:00 each evening.

This is only for the 2012 high school football players.  The Mid-High may do some things this summer, and if Coach Bedwell decides to move forward with those sessions you will get that information in other emails.

Help round up any potential Patriots who may not receive this email as we need to get much accomplished during these two weeks of Spring Camp.

We need to work hard looking forward to a great 2012 football season!

Coach Sikes
